Mini Piling Midlands

We deliver professional, cost-effective mini piling services in the Midlands. From domestic extensions to large-scale commercial foundations and structural underpinning, we offer efficient, dependable piling solutions, even in the most complex ground conditions or restricted access environments across the East and West Midlands.

What is Mini Piling?

Mini piling uses compact rigs to install small-diameter piles. This method is especially effective for restricted access sites, low-headroom environments, urban and suburban developments or locations where noise, vibration, or disruption must be minimised.

It’s an ideal solution across Midlands’ cities and towns, including Birmingham, Coventry, Leicester, Nottingham, Derby, Wolverhampton, and Worcester, as well as rural areas in Warwickshire, Staffordshire, Leicestershire.

    Pile Sizes

If piles have a diameter under 300mm they are typically classified as mini piles. However, at Dawson Foundation Engineering, we install a wide range of pile sizes from 100mm to 600mm. Larger-diameter piles can still be categorized as mini piling when installed with lightweight, compact rigs. The classification is more about site conditions and logistics than pile size alone.

    Mini Piling Equipment and Capabilities

Our in-house rigs weigh less than 20 tonnes, enabling us to work in tight, awkward, or sensitive areas without sacrificing performance. These rigs are capable of installing pile diameters up to 600mm, making them a flexible choice for diverse Midlands sites.
