Mini Piling Glasgow

As experienced mini piling contractors in Glasgow, Dawson Foundation Engineering provides reliable, tailored piling solutions for residential, commercial, and public sector projects across the city. From inner-city renovations to large-scale developments, our specialist team installs piles safely and efficiently in even the most complex ground conditions or tight access sites.

What is Mini Piling?

Mini piling is a term used to describe lightweight foundation systems installed using compact rigs, making them ideal for:
  • Limited access environments
  • Low headroom basements or interiors
  • Sites near existing buildings or infrastructure
  • Vibration-sensitive areas like heritage zones

This makes mini piling particularly suited to projects across Glasgow’s urban centre, Victorian housing stock, and city-wide regeneration zones.

    Pile Sizes

Mini piles are generally considered to be piles under 300mm in diameter, although we install piles from 100mm to 600mm across Glasgow and the surrounding region.

Even piles above 300mm can fall under the mini piling category when installed with compact rigs. The classification often depends more on access, logistics, and site constraints than just pile diameter.
